If you probably
noticed I decided to remove the first car modeling tutorial because
it was old and not so accurate.
From my knolidge that first tutorial was the first car modling tutorial
that used splines into building the primary shape of the car (as
seen in lotus). During that days there weren't many car modeling
tutorials and I come up with a simple solution that could be used
by beginers. I still use sometimes "the spline" approch
into building the very basic setup of the cars, is a lot faster
to draw lines than to cut through polygons.
But of course
most of the heavy work is done with editable poly and subdivisions. |
